Honors: School of Medicine and students Andrew Han and Greg Calfee

Communities in Schools of Southern Nevada is honoring the UNLV School of Medicine with its “Volunteer Partner of the Year Award.” Communities in Schools provides case management for Title 1 Children in the Clark County School District, where a number of medical students perform community service in economically challenged neighborhoods. Medical students Andrew Han and Greg Calfee were singled out for their volunteer work helping young people in Southern Nevada.
