Grant: Rachell Ekroos

Rachell A. Ekroos (Nursing) recently received two grant awards totaling $47,211. She is the principal investigator of the project titled, “Enhancing the Multidisciplinary Response to Child Sexual Violence in Southern Nevada” ($39,711). Under this award, Ekroos will work with community partners, organizations, and government agencies regarding evidence-based and trauma-informed multidisciplinary responses to minor victims of sexual violence. For the second award, titled “Innovation in Research: Developing Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Partnerships“ ($7,500), Ekroos will focus on building regional, national, and international research partnerships through collaborative research projects and information dissemination activities.
