Qiang Zhu (Physics and Astronomy) has been honored by the U.S. Department of Energy's office of science with an Early Career Research Program Award for his proposal "Data-driven Discovery of Inorganic Electrides for Energy Applications." He is one of 83 scientists recognized nationwide. This award, now in its 12th year, is designed to bolster the nation’s scientific workforce by providing support to exceptional researchers during the crucial early career years, when many scientists do their most formative work.
