Kavita Batra, together with Cathleen Danheiser, Alexa Doromal, Molly Drader, Karen Gordon, and Dr. Deborah A. Kuhls (all Medicine), presented the poster, “Advancing Veteran Health Through Collaborative Research,” at the 100th Anniversary of VA Research, hosted by the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The presentation underscored the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV’s strong commitment to veteran-focused research, with emphasis on key areas such as mental health, chronic disease, injury prevention, and aging-related care. The team also highlighted the robust resources available through the Office of Research, including biostatistics consulting, data analytics, and grant development support, aimed at fostering impactful collaborations between VA investigators and UNLV faculty, residents, and fellows.
