Noehealani Antolin (Medicine), Grants and Research Director in the Department of Surgery, received the 2026 Foundation of Excellence Award at the Nevada Traffic Safety Summit held October 13–15 in Reno, Nevada. The award recognizes individuals whose contributions through analytical expertise, effective communication, and operational support strengthen statewide efforts to eliminate traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries. Antolin leads the Traffic Safety Research Program under the leadership of Principal Investigator Deborah Kuhls (Medicine), advancing statewide traffic safety research, data integration, and evidence-based injury prevention initiatives.
