Notable: Michael Webberson, Galya Raz, and Andrew Ingel

Dr. Michael Webberson (Dental) performed an evolving surgical procedure via live broadcast during the American Academy of Implant Dentistry annual meeting in San Diego. Titled “Guided Implant Placement Utilizing Ossendensification Burs: A Live Surgery,” the procedure demonstrated the use of a computer-generated surgical guide with a newly designed surgical drill that compacts a patient’s bone prior to dental implant placement. Dr. Galya Raz and Dr. Andrew Ingel (both Dental) assisted Webberson. The procedure also was live-streamed to UNLV School of Dental Medicine for faculty and students.
