Mark Buttner (Environmental and Occupational Health) received a one-year grant from the Clark County School District to continue the Airborne Pollen Monitoring project, which provides updated pollen and mold spore counts for the Las Vegas area. In 2013, UNLV partnered with the Clark County School District to establish the program in order to regularly monitor and report on airborne pollen concentrations in an effort to help sensitive individuals prepare for or avoid exposure.
