Selam Ayele and Blessing Imade (Medicine) co-presented “E-Micromobility in Clark County: Safety Awareness and Injury Trends - Insights from the Statewide Trauma Registry (2021–Q1 2026)” at the 2026 Fall Transportation Conference in Las Vegas on Oct. 22. The presentation, co-authored with Ana L. Reyes, Noehealani Antolin, Darin Mains, Kavita Batra, and Deborah Kuhls (all Medicine), highlighted findings from an analysis of Nevada trauma registry data examining e-bike and e-scooter-related injuries in Clark County, including injury trends, demographics, injury characteristics, and safety considerations. The research emphasized opportunities to improve rider safety awareness, injury prevention, and traffic safety initiatives in Southern Nevada.
