Michael Dagovetz, Kaloyan Momchilov, Liahm Blank, Joshua Khorsandi, and Kavita Batra (all Medicine), in collaboration with eminent international researchers from Italy, Morocco, Spain, and Ecuador, recently published a study titled, "Global COVID-19 Vaccination Challenges: Inequity of Access and Vaccine Hesitancy," in the Journal of Medicine, Surgery, and Public Health. The study explores the complex interplay between vaccine accessibility and hesitancy, aiming to identify strategies to enhance vaccine uptake. By analyzing the barriers encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic, the research offers valuable insights to inform future public health interventions and global preparedness efforts.
Dagovetz, Momchilov, Blank, and Khorsandi are medical students engaged in multiple research projects under the mentorship of Dr. Batra, highlighting a strong model of collaborative and interdisciplinary learning.
