Dr. Ken Reed and Dr. Amanda Okundye (both Dental) represented UNLV School of Dental Medicince during the 2026 Annual Scientific Session of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists.

Okundaye gave a lecture titled, “The Changing Landscape of Street Drugs.” Reed accepted his re-election as president of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and chaired its diplomate and board of directors annual meetings. He also co-chaired a meeting for the society’s committee on resident education with Dr. Mana Saraghi of Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, then presented a review of a paper titled, “The Aging Anesthesiologist: A Narrative Review and Suggested Strategies.”
