Dr. Ken Reed (Dental) accepted a two-year appointment to the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Bylaws committee, which begins Oct. 20 at the close of the House of Delegates session. Established in 1905, the American Society of Anesthesiologists serves to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and to improve patient care. The society, which rarely appoints dental anesthesiologists to its committees, provides outstanding education, research and scientific knowledge to physician anesthesiologists and care-team members.
