Grant: Kathryn Houk and Jennifer Culley

Kathryn Houk and Jennifer Culley (both Libraries) have received a Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 5 Collection Equity Grant to expand the UNLV School of Medicine Library's Health Humanities Collection with additional works featuring women physicians with a focus on diverse voices, and the LGBTQ+ experience in healthcare. Culley and Houk will identify and purchase a mixture of autobiographical, biographical, fiction and nonfiction novels and graphic novels that will provide students and faculty the opportunity to explore different perspectives from their own.
