Members of the Department of Internal Medicine in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine received awards for their contributions to the Nevada Chapter of the American College of Physicians on October 1. Dr. Kachon "Jeff" Lei, cardiovascular medicine fellow, was awarded Resident/Fellow of the Year for his teaching excellence and contributions in representing the interest of trainees. Dr. Aditi Singh received the Chapter Leadership Award for her contributions towards the success of the Chapter including leadership of the annual Chapter meeting. Dr. John Varras received the Internal Medicine Physician Award  for being a respected member of the physician community, dedicated to the practice of internal medicine and helpful to his colleagues.
