Julie Pham (Education) coauthored an article, "Leaving to Fit In? The Ethnoracial Composition of Principals, Peer Teachers, and Teacher Turnover in New York City," where she and fellow researchers (Luis Rodriguez and Briana Gonçalvez) found that NYC public school teachers were more likely to stay in schools with a principal and peers that shared their race/ethnicity. The study on teacher turnover was published in Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis.
