Presentation: Joshua Goldman

Dr. Joshua J. Goldman (Medicine) had two posters presented at the 2020 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery:

  • "Utilization of Microsurgical Techniques in Craniofacial Reconstruction: A Chimeric Approach to Pediatric Defects"

The clinical research case series focuses on improved outcomes with interdisciplinary or integrated approaches to complex pediatric defects resulting from craniofacial differences.

  • "Approach to Radical Resection and Reconstruction of an ‘Unresectable’ Sarcoma of the Face: Challenging the Role of Microsurgery in Palliative Care"

The case report and literature review present an ethics-based viewpoint of the role of advanced reconstruction in palliative care in terms of quantity and quality of life.
