Jennifer L. Rennels and graduate student Kindy Insouvanh (both Psychology) published "Developmental research assessing bias would benefit from naturalistic observation data" in Behavioral and Brain Sciences. This article provides examples of how utilizing naturalistic observations for developmental studies investigating children’s social biases can help researchers derive theories they can then experimentally test.
