Jeffrey Ebersole (Dental) accepted an invitation to speak during the first Bernhard Gottlieb Conference: Periodontal Homeostasis in Disease and Regeneration hosted by Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He presented findings from his study "The Exposome and Periodontal Homeostasis in Aging," which included contributions from Linh Nguyen (Dental) and Arpita Basu (Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences), along with Dr. Ying Zhang from the Southern Nevada Health District. Gottlieb fled to the United States from Nazi Germany in the 1930s and is considered one of the international founding fathers of periodontal disease research.
