Published: Jay Shen, Pearl Kim, and Ji Won Yoo

Jay Shen (Community Health Sciences), Pearl Kim (Healthcare Administration), and Ji Won Yoo (Medicine) recently published a paper, "Life-Sustaining Procedures, Palliative Care Consultation, and Do-Not Resuscitate Status in Dying Patients With COPD in US Hospitals: 2010-2014", in the Journal of Palliative Care. This study resulted from collaborations between UNLV and other institutions. The co-authors include Eunjeong Ko from San Diego Statue University, Sun Jun Kim from Soonchunhayng University in South Korea, and Yong-Jae Lee. Lee, who is from Yonsei University College of Medicine in South Korea, currently is a visiting research professor in UNLV's department of healthcare administration and policy. Kim is a doctoral student.
