Hyunhwa “Henna” Lee and Rhigel “Jay” Tan (both Nursing) were named 2026 Fellows of the Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing (ADLN), a national honor recognizing nurse leaders who have advanced justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) in nursing education, research, practice, policy, and administration. Lee was selected as a Distinguished Fellow, recognizing her research leadership, including work to increase access to mental health care in Nevada’s rural communities. Tan was selected as a Luminary Fellow, a category reserved for nurse leaders with at least 30 years in the profession. He was the first Asian and first Filipino elected president of the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
