Hyelin (Lina) Kim (UNLV Hospitality) and her coauthors—Sung-Eun Kim from Kyungpook National University and UNLV Hospitality Ph.D. alumna, Zhenxian Piao from the University of Central Florida, and Seokhyun (Sean) Kim (Hospitality)—received the Second Runner-Up Best Paper Award at APacCHRIE 2026 in Osaka, Japan, for their paper titled "Virtual Event Quality as a Presence-Driven Experience: A Mixed-Methods Investigation of Telepresence, Social Presence, and Continuance."
