Henry Krasner and co-authors, Dr. Sukanta Maitra (Orthopedic Surgery) and Dr. Allison McNickle (Trauma Surgery) published the article, "A comprehensive analysis of traumatic atlanto-occipital and atlanto-axial dislocations: A case series from a level one trauma center," in Trauma Case Reports. This series reviewed the prehospital care, concurrent injuries and outcomes of patients with craniovertebral junction dislocations or subluxations.
