Presentation: Edward Lynch
Edward Lynch (Dental) this month presented two full days of lectures and hands-on practicals for the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the Centre for Advanced Professional Practices (CAPP) in Dubai, UAE, which has the sole purpose of delivering excellence in dental continuing medical education in the Middle East and beyond. CAPP is an American Dental Association (ADA) C.E.R.P Recognized Provider, specializing in continuing medical education (CME) and continuing professional development (CPD) dental education programs. Lynch presented data from several recent research publications that he and colleagues have published since his arrival at UNLV. His emphasis was on presenting translational evidenced-based applied clinical research.
A varied career, including stints as a cancer center administrator and a film production coordinator, eventually led Nicole Stephens to UNLV.
Dr. Yen Cao’s quick reaction in an emergency may have saved a motorist’s life.
A health economist in the Lee Business School, her research interests center around policies addressing the health of low-income and at-risk infants and children.
Two-time UNLV alumnus Andrew Baca has done a little bit of everything in his career … except let setbacks stand in the way.
The abstract mandalas of UNLV alumnus James Stanford demand close inspection. A new art book collects his works.
After spending her workday at her computer, this manager of IT support services for the UNLV School of Medicine is only too happy to “unplug” once she gets home.
