Douglas Eck and Rebecca Peterson (both Physical Therapy) will present a poster titled “Bridging the Gap: Operationalizing the PVA Bone Health Guidelines through Health Literacy and Community Engagement” at the Paralyzed Veterans of America Summit+Expo 2026 in Las Vegas. The poster explores strategies for translating clinical bone health guidelines into actionable community practice. Eck and Peterson are both part-time instructor in the UNLV Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
