Published: Diana Eden

Diana Eden (Film) is the author of the book Stars in Their Underwear: My Unpredictable Journey from Broadway Dancer to Costume Designer for Some of Hollywood's Biggest Stars. It chronicles her life as a costume designer for Las Vegas shows and Hollywood TV and films. Su Kim Chung of UNLV Libraries' Special Collections & Archives, facilitated the use of an illustration, a Bob Mackie sketch for the show Jubilee, on which Eden assisted Mackie. Other Las Vegas history is vividly described in her chapter on surviving the MGM fire in 1980 in which 87 lives were lost. Eden also served as costume designer for the co-curricular film Stealing Las Vegas, which was directed by film department artistic director Francisco Menéndez.
