Donald Price (Life Sciences) was part of a team that published an article in the January 2023 issue of PeerJ titled, “Genetic diversity, structure, and effective population size of an endangered, endemic hoary bat, ʻōpeʻapeʻa, across the Hawaiian Islands." The team included scientists from the Tropical Conservation Biology and Environmental Science Graduate program, University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo; Hawaiʻi Cooperative Studies Unit at the Hawaiʻi National Park; Pacific Island Ecosystems Research Center, U.S. Geological Survey, Hawaiʻi National Park.
