Honors: Cindy Kha

Cindy X. Kha (Life Sciences) was awarded the 2021 Sam Lieberman Regents’ Award for Graduate Student Scholarship by the NSHE Board of Regents. This award honors students for their distinguished academic achievements, leadership ability, and service contributions. Her work in the laboratory of associate professor Kelly Tseng (Life Sciences) focuses on identifying and characterizing mechanisms that promote eye regeneration and repair. She has been recognized for her work with awards from the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences; Sigma Xi, the Scientific Honor Society; and UNLV.
