Christine Draper (Online Education) received a faculty development seminar grant from CAORC-WARC (Council of American Overseas Research Centers/ West African Research Center). These seminars are designed for faculty and administrators at U.S. community colleges and Minority-Serving Institutions. The objective of the seminar is to help participants gain international experience to develop and improve curricula at their home institutions. Draper will visit Dakar, Senegal, in January 2025. This seminar will feature lectures, site visits, panel discussions, and film screenings on the history, culture, arts, economy, and political life of Senegal, with a focus on connections between West Africa and the diaspora.
