Christina Demopoulos (Dental) leads the Seal Nevada South program for which the School of Dental Medicine has received a $7,500 award from Oral Health America. The program has provided more than 8,500 sealants to 2,500 children since 2010. Many of the children are uninsured and receive free follow-up dental care at the school’s Saturday Morning Children’s Clinic. This is the eighth consecutive year Oral Health America has financially supported the school to provide the sealant program.
