Cheryl Perna (Nursing) co-authored “Patient Care Outcomes and Temporary Nurses,” which appeared in Nursing Management, and “The Development of a PTSD Standardized Patient Encounter,” which appeared in MedEdPORTAL Publications. The articles published during August and November 2015 respectively.

She also led two poster presentations during the American Association of the Colleges of Nursing Baccalaureate Education Conference in November. Perna presented “A Multidisciplinary Approach to Improving BSN Student’s Writing and Use of APA,” and with her students Elizabeth Hinchman, Elena Gallo, Michelle Adams, and Whitney Petty (all Nursing) presented “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Communication and Cultural Awareness for Nursing Students.”
