Bridger Woods (Medicine) presented an abstract titled, "Watch Out Below! A Comparison of Hiking and Rock Climbing Falls at a Level 1 Trauma Center," at the Western Regional Society of Academic Emergency Medicine Conference in Rancho Mirage, Calif. This study compared EMS care, pattern of injury and outcomes of hikers and climbers presenting for care at UMC over a seven-year period.
