Dr. Brandon Karcher (Medicine) won first prize for the Nevada American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma Resident Paper Competition with his abstract entitled "A Disproportionate Burden: Injury Severity, Outcomes, and Resource Use in Unhoused Pedestrians."  Dr. Karcher will compete at the COT Region 9 (comprising Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada) Meeting at UCSF-Fresno in December.
