Asma Awan (Social and Behavioral Health) has been awarded a certificate for completing "Building Capacity to Advance Health Certificate Pilot Program" on November 14, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia, as the participant for the inaugural cohort. The program is offered by the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) as an 8-week training program and designed to equip managers for their roles within governmental and other public health agencies. BCAH provides tools and refreshing concepts for the work in establishing productive plans to implement health equity initiatives.
