UNLV has received a $1 million award from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation as part of the national Sloan Centers for Systemic Change (SCSC) initiative. Led by the Graduate College in partnership with the colleges of Sciences and Engineering, the four-year initiative will provide fellowship funding for 30+ STEM doctoral students and advance reforms in graduate admissions processes, faculty mentoring practices, and access to wraparound student success support services.
