Alice Weber (Medicine) presented a poster "Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation for Improved Speech Motor Learning: A Model for Parkinson's Speech Therapy" at the Advanced Neuromodulation and Neuromonitoring Training Workshop 2026 hosted by Soterix Medical in New York City. Collaborators on this research include Phil Weir-Mayta, program director of speech-language pathology at Nevada State University; Daniel Pope, computational physics researcher, UK; Lidija Savic, Nevada State University student; Anne Weisman, director of well-being & integrative medicine at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine and faculty advisor in neuroscience. Weber is a neuroscience Ph.D. student under the advisement of Weisman.
