Alice Weber (Medicine) gave a one-hour interdisciplinary educational seminar about transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and speech motor learning in Washington D.C. at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) convention in collaboration with Phil Weir-Mayta, chair of the Speech Pathology department at Nevada State University. Weber and Weir-Mayta also presented their study about the effects of tDCS on context-independent motor acquisition of a foreign language.
