Alanna Bitzel (Writing Center) co-authored "How Region 9's Talk Stories Series Supports Professional Growth" with two advising colleagues, Michael Cersosimo of Loyola Marymount University and Maria Elisa Grandoné of the University of California, Irvine. The article was recently published, appearing in the March 2026 edition of Academic Advising Today (AAT), the quarterly electronic publication (e-zine) of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. AAT provides a venue for the sharing of advising experiences and discussion of ideas related to the theory and practice of academic advising in higher education.
