Drs. Aasna Shaw and Lloyd Jensen (both Medicine; Pediatrics) presented their research on out-of-hospital births at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition’s Section on Medical Transport.

Shaw and Jensen presented “Reducing Neonatal Hypothermia in Out-of-Hospital Births through EMS Training and AEGIS Wrap Implementation.” Jensen also presented “Evaluation of a Simplified ‘Easy as 1-2-3’ Neonatal Resuscitation Model for Weight Estimation, Airway Selection, and Epinephrine Dosing in Out-of-Hospital Births.”
