Alta Ham Fine Arts Building

The Alta Ham Fine Arts Building is a multimillion-dollar facility that was originally completed in 1982, with a major expansion wing added in 1992.

The Alta Ham Fine Arts Building contains almost 84,000 gross square feet of space, offering:

  • A jazz ensemble rehearsal room
  • A large percussion rehearsal room
  • Practice rooms
  • Faculty studios and offices
  • Piano studio repertory rooms
  • An organ studio
  • Additional facilities for the Department of Theatre, the Department of Dance, and the Department of Art

There are also two performance venues in this building that receive consistent use by the various departments in the College of Fine Arts:

  • The Paul Harris Theatre
  • The Black Box Theatre

The Alta Ham Fine Arts Building also contains the offices of:

  • The Music Office
