Our team has responsibility for Math 95 and Math 96 and has designed these courses to prepare you for success in your specific math pathway. Math 95
Math 95 is a course designed to prepare you for success in Math 120. This course covers a variety of topics including:
- Quantitative literacy
- Algebraic expressions and equations
- Properties of linear functions
- Various other topics
The class focuses on improving quantitative reasoning and gain a deeper understanding of mathematics in our everyday world.
Math 96
Math 96 is a course designed to prepare you for success in Math 124 or Math 126 (or Math 122 for elementary education majors), depending on the mathematics course your personal degree requires. The course covers a variety of topics including:
- Polynomial expressions and equations
- Rational expressions and equations
- Radical expressions and equations
- Functions
- Graphing
- Various other topics
The class focuses on improving algebra skills and gaining a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
