Our programs prepare students to become business and technology professionals who drive change across industries by developing systems, leveraging data, advancing cybersecurity, and utilizing strategy to drive transformative innovation.

Information Systems: The Lifeblood of Business

Prepare for a career at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. Whether you are drawn to systems development, cybersecurity, or data analytics, the Department of Information Systems offers business-focused degrees and participates in interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate programs that combine hands-on experience with industry-relevant training. These flexible degrees are designed to equip students with the technical knowledge, strategic insight, and leadership skills needed for several IS career pathways. Notably, salaries for IS graduates are significantly higher than those of typical business majors for Bachelor’s and most Master's degrees (according to the Information Systems Job Index 2024).
