The Dean’s Symposium and Student Research Day enables UNLV School of Dental Medicine students and residents to highlight and present their research, which covers various areas of oral health. This event began in 2003 and has become an important tradition. The one-day program typically occurs during March. Events include oral and poster research presentations from pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students, and includes continuing education opportunities.

Local dentists judge the presentations and announce awards. The awardees are then able to present their research during national conferences. The school cancels classes and clinics that day so more than 350 students, staff, and faculty members may attend the poster presentations and educational courses.

Lead Sponsor — $10,000

As the Lead Sponsor, the event will be referred to in all print and verbal communications as the "Dean’s Symposium and Student Research Day Sponsored by your company". Your name/company logo will be featured on the front of the program and full page advertisement (of your design/choosing) on the back of the program. You will be verbally thanked by Dean Karen West during her introductions. We will also work with you to write a website feature dedicated to highlighting your support of the event.

Speaker Sponsor — $5,000

As the speaker sponsor, your name/company logo will be featured on the front of the program as well as on the page of the program with Dr. Lynch’s bio. Your logo will be included along with other sponsors on the UNLV SDM website. You will also be verbally thanked by Dean Karen West during her introductions.

Program Sponsor — $2,500

As the program sponsor, your name/company logo will be featured on the sponsor page of the program and on the UNLV SDM website along with other sponsors. You will be verbally thanked by Dean Karen West during her introductions.
