The Title III Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) program provides grants and related assistance to Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-serving institutions to enable such institutions to improve and expand their capacity to serve Asian Americans and Native American Pacific Islanders and low-income individuals.

National Science Foundation (NSF) Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP)

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is a federal program funded through the National Science Foundation (NSF). The purpose of LSAMP is to increase the quantity and quality of students successfully completing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degree programs.

TRIO McNair Scholars Institute

The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Institute at UNLV is committed to diversifying the ranks of American faculty and research institutions by encouraging and preparing undergraduate students who are members of underrepresented groups to pursue doctoral studies.

TRIO Student Support Services

The mission of Student Support Services is to assist college students with overcoming personal concerns, academic deficiencies and financial difficulties that could impair their chances of succeeding in college. Student Support Services also provides students with the necessary tools to adjust to the demands of a college environment, while helping them develop good study habits and decision-making skills that increase retention and graduation rates for college students.

CAEO Undergraduate Research

Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach (CAEO) offers undergraduate students in UNLV’s Title III AANAPISI (Part A), Title III AANAPISI (Part F), NSF LSAMP, and TRIO McNair Scholars Institute projects the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of mentors from the UNLV faculty.

Alliance of Professionals of American Heritage

Each year the UNLV Alliance of Professionals of American Heritage (APAH) applauds the academic achievements of students of African Heritage and hosts the African-American Students Awards Ceremony and Graduation Celebration.

Asher Boot Camp

This intensive two-day workshop focuses on strategies to help students gain admission to highly competitive graduate programs.
