Sarah Musovski, MSN-Ed, RN, COI, and a UNLV Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice student, was awarded a 2025 NLN Foundation Nursing Education Faculty Scholarship. Nineteen advanced-degree nursing students receive the scholarship, sharing a total of $125,000 in funds. 

“I knew from a young age that I always wanted to be a nurse. With a childhood centered around hospital visits, the nurses were always an inspiration to me,” Mosovski said. “Once I began my career as a nurse, I felt drawn to the education side of things and felt that I could have a positive impact on the world of nursing education.”

The scholarship provides Mosovski with the financial support to explore her passions as a nurse working with the neonatal population as a student in the DNP program. She plans to continue her role as a nurse educator and influence the future of neonatal care through research.
