About the Institutional Compliance Gateway
This webpage is the gateway into UNLV's compliance programs and provides information about and links to UNLV compliance resources. UNLV has also formed a Compliance Advisory Council with members appointed by the President’s Cabinet. The Council promotes a culture of compliance across the university and collaborates with compliance partners to deliver consistent services through the use of standard tools, templates, metrics, and reporting processes and practices.

This Compliance Matrix details the decentralized structure of UNLV officers and administrators responsible for specific compliance areas, coordinated and supported by the Office of General Counsel, and the Compliance Advisory Council
The Accountable Senior Officer with Oversight Responsibilities “Responsible Person” is a member of Administration with overall operational responsibility for the designated compliance area.
The Functionally Responsible Contact is the administrator or staff member with day-to-day responsibility for the designated compliance area.

UNLV’s Compliance Advisory Council provides oversight and strategic guidance for compliance and risk management across the university's decentralized compliance structure in support of campus-wide adoption and the ongoing management of processes and system of internal control.
