Private gifts to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs are used to support our most important assets: our students. These gifts provide scholarships to the best and brightest, fund graduate assistantships that allow students to focus on research, help faculty maintain dynamic and innovative programs, and give the dean a means of cultivating the areas that present the greatest opportunities to move the college forward to its strategic goals.
Without private support, the quality of the educational experience at UNLV would suffer and the ability of the university to support the economic growth of Southern Nevada would be crippled. Thus, your gift to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs is more than just a donation — it's an investment in the future of this dynamic metropolis.

The initial way to show annual support to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs is to join as a Dean’s Associate. Individuals or corporations that contribute at least $1,000 annually to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs are invited to university and college engagements throughout the year. Funds given to the Dean’s Associates allow students opportunities to attend conferences or competitions to present papers or research findings.
Students have presented at the following conferences for the 2014-2015 academic year:
- Western States Communication Association Conference
- American Society of Criminology Conference
- Rhetoric Society of America Conference
- Urban Affairs Association Conference
- American Educational Research Association Annual Policy Meeting
- Environmental Criminology and Crime Analysis Annual Symposium
