The initial way to show annual support to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs is to join as a Dean’s Associate. Individuals or corporations that contribute at least $1,000 annually to the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs are invited to university and college engagements throughout the year. Funds given to the Dean’s Associates allow students opportunities to attend conferences or competitions to present papers or research findings.
The award-winning UNLV Debate Team, established in 2007, has quickly grown into a national powerhouse. UNLV's team is ranked eighth in the country and headed to the 2018 National Debate Tournament. The UNLV team was one of only 16 teams to receive an automatic invite to compete at the national championships.
UNLV’s squad consists of eight, two-person teams, along with coaches and support staff. Undergraduate students from any major can participate on the team and hone their skills in public speaking, critical thinking, research, and cross-examination. As the UNLV Debate Team continues to grow and rise in the rankings, students from across the country have taken notice. With your financial support, the team can provide scholarships to students, cover the cost of student travel to competitions, run summer debate camps for middle and high school students, and maintain overall debate operations funding to ensure that the program can perform at its best.
KUNV is part of the UNLV Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies and serves the UNLV campus and community at-large. KUNV professional staff serve as mentors for students. UNLV students from across the campus work as on-air talent, report the news, produce on-air programs, and create social and digital media content. Students are involved in multimedia projects, including social media management and podcasting. The goal is to prepare students for a wide variety of multimedia careers. Donor support is dedicated to KUNV operations, student internships, and scholarships.

The team is open to all undergraduate majors. To prepare for regional and national tournaments, students spend the academic year taking classes in trial advocacy, practicing mock trials, and arguing in front of practicing attorneys and judges from Southern Nevada.
