UNLV Online’s Digital Teaching & Innovation team collaborates with the Teaching & Learning Commons to deliver comprehensive support for faculty teaching in online, in-person, and technology-enhanced environments. This joint effort allows us to offer coordinated pedagogical and technical guidance to help you design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
Support Options
General Support

Specialized Support
Depending on your request, you may work with one or both of the following specialists:
- Digital Teaching & Innovation Technologists (DITs) provide direct support to faculty in online teaching, including pedagogy, course development, and effective instructional practices across all modalities.
- Functional Instructional Technologists (FITs) provide technical support for online teaching tools, including WebCampus, Panopto, Zoom, and third-party integrations
Together, these teams provide the instructional guidance and technical expertise needed to support successful online teaching at UNLV.

Teaching and Learning Innovation Focused Offerings
UNLV Online provides a range of teaching and learning innovation focused offerings designed to support faculty across all instructional modalities. These sessions explore topics such as WebCampus essentials, Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI), and a series on applying AI strategies in your online teaching.
