Registration

Registration for New Student Orientation is available through your MyUNLV account. You must accept your admission before you can register for orientation. Contact your Admissions Counselor if you need assistance.

Registration Steps

Step One

Log into your MyUNLV account.

Step Two

Click on the Tasks tile from your Rebel Student Homepage.

Step Three

Select the Register for New Student Orientation link, located in your To-Do List to register for orientation.

Online registration is required for all students who plan to attend orientation.

You'll receive a confirmation message to your preferred email approximately 15 minutes after you complete the online registration. If you have not received a confirmation email, contact orientation@unlv.edu. An additional email with the link and instructions on how to access the virtual event will be provided a couple of days prior to your scheduled orientation session.

Email notifications will be sent when registration is available in MyUNLV.

Updating Virtual Orientation Reservation & Rescheduling a Virtual Orientation Session

You can edit your orientation session information or reschedule to an available orientation session through your MyUNLV account. Click the Orientation Information link found in the To-Do List of your Tasks tile. This option is only available up to five business days prior to your scheduled orientation session.

If you missed your scheduled orientation session or it is less than five business days before your scheduled orientation session, please email orientation@unlv.edu the following information:

  • Full Name
  • NSHE ID
  • Scheduled Virtual Orientation Session
  • If you need to reschedule due to an extenuating circumstance, please indicate the orientation session you would like to attend
  • If applicable, include requested updates to current orientation reservation (e.g. guest information)
