The survey was administered to all full-time employees in the Spring of 2022. This survey was conducted as part of the Top Tier 2.0 strategic plan as culture is a key element of the overall plan. 1,042 randomly sampled employees responded to the survey for a 31% response rate. Overall response rates for employment groups were 10% Administrative/Executive Leadership, 24% Academic Faculty, 45% Administrative Faculty, and 20% Classified Staff. Survey results suggest our strengths include supervisor/department chair effectiveness, faculty & staff well-being, and diversity, inclusion & belonging. Employees are less satisfied with performance management, confidence in senior leadership, and collaboration.

Below are the strengths and opportunities and the percentage of responses. The survey utilized a 5-point scale, and respondents who selected "agree" and "strongly agree" formed the "overall positive" score, with the percentage of respondents denoted in parentheses; "disagree" and "strongly disagree" responses formed the percentages for opportunities.
