Workday Release 2026 R1 Update

Workday has upgraded several features to improve the user experience. The changes took effect on March 14 and include the following:

New User Log-in Interface

Workday has updated its login page with a new look. While the screen looks different, the sign-in process and security steps (Single Sign-on and Multi-Factor Authentication) remain the same.

Accessibility for Tables with Mass Actions and Quick Filters

Workday has been updated to make working with data faster and more accessible. You can now use your keyboard to navigate tables and take advantage of these new features:

  • Bulk Changes: Select multiple rows at once to make updates in a single step.
  • Easy Filtering: Use the new row of buttons at the top of your table to quickly narrow down your results.
  • Saved Filters: Create and save your favorite filter settings so you can return to them anytime.
  • Automatic Saving: The system remembers your sort and filter settings, so the table stays the same even if you leave the page.

For Workday login and navigation support as well as assistance with self-service training resources, email workdaysupport@unlv.edu or contact the IT Help Desk at 702-895-0777.

Visit the Workday website for training resources as well as information on useful reports and frequently asked questions about security.
