UPDATE: April Traffic Impacts on Maryland Parkway

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is continuing work on its Maryland Parkway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in front of UNLV.

Please be aware of the following impacts this week:

  • April 28-29 — Paving on the east side of Maryland Parkway, between Harmon Avenue and Tropicana Avenue. Existing traffic controls will remain in place, however drivers are asked to watch for intermittent traffic impacts as equipment is moved through the area.

We encourage everyone to stay informed and to sign up to receive project updates via text or email directly from the RTC.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as the RTC works to enhance access to our campuses and the surrounding community.

The heavy construction work on Maryland Parkway, in front of the main UNLV campus, is expected to be done by the end of the summer. Read more about the Maryland Parkway BRT project on the UNLV News Center.

* Due to the fluid nature of construction, this information is subject to change. We will do our best to provide timely communication if changes are necessary.
